Directions
- 1
Prepare the Cedar Plank
Soak the cedar plank in water for at least 1 hour before grilling.
- 2
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- 3
Season the Salmon
Pat the salmon fillet dry and season with olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
- 4
Grill the Salmon
Place the soaked cedar plank on the grill. After a few minutes, once it begins to smoke, place the salmon fillet skin-side down on the plank. Grill for about 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through.
- 5
Prepare the Salad
While the salmon is grilling, chop the romaine lettuce and toss it with Caesar dressing in a large bowl.
- 6
Assemble the Dish
Once the salmon is cooked, remove it from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Serve the salad topped with the cedar-plank salmon, shaved parmesan cheese, and hushpuppy croutons.
