Cooking the Pasta
Boil the Elbow Macaroni
In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add a pinch of salt and the elbow macaroni. Cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 7-8 minutes.
Drain and Set Aside
Once cooked, drain the macaroni in a colander and set aside.
Making the Cheese Sauce
Add Milk
Gradually whisk in the milk, ensuring there are no lumps. Cook until the mixture thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
Incorporate the Cheeses
Reduce the heat to low and stir in the cheddar and mozzarella cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper.

Mix Pasta with Cheese Sauce
Add the drained elbow macaroni to the cheese sauce and stir until the pasta is well coated.
Add Grilled Hot Dogs
Fold in the sliced grilled hot dogs, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the macaroni and cheese.

Serve Warm
