Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Garlic-Mashed Potatoes

Peel and chop the potatoes into quarters. Boil in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and return to pot.

  2. 2

    Mashing the Potatoes

Add milk, 2 tbs of butter, salt, and black pepper to the potatoes. Mash until smooth and creamy. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Broccolini

Blanch the broccolini in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, then transfer to an ice bath to stop cooking. Drain and set aside.

  4. 4

    Cook the Angus Filet

Preheat the grill or wood-fired oven. Season the Angus filet with salt and black pepper. Grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting time to your preference.

  5. 5

    Make the Herbed Butter Sauce

In a skillet, melt the remaining 2 tbs of butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Stir in the fresh herbs and cook for an additional minute.

  6. 6

    Combine and Serve

Plate the garlic-mashed potatoes, top with the Angus filet, drizzle the herbed butter sauce over the filet, and serve with grilled broccolini on the side.
