Method
Prepare Tortillas
- 1
Fry Tortillas
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the corn tortillas, one at a time, frying each for about 30-60 seconds per side until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove from the skillet and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
Assemble Tostadas
- 2
Spread Beans
On each fried corn tortilla, spread a generous tablespoon of refried beans evenly over the surface.
- 3
Add Toppings
Layer the shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheddar cheese on top of the beans. Distribute evenly among all tostadas.
- 4
Finish with Sauces
Top each tostada with a dollop of sour cream and a spoonful of guacamole.
