Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). This will ensure that the mushrooms cook evenly.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Mushroom Caps

Gently clean the mushroom caps with a damp paper towel to remove any dirt. Remove the stems and set them aside for later use.

Stuffing Mixture

  1. 3

    Sauté the Leeks and Garlic

In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the finely chopped leek and minced garlic. Sauté for about 5 minutes or until the leeks are soft and translucent.

  2. 4

    Combine Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the sautéed leeks and garlic with chopped pecans, grated parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Stuffing the Mushrooms

  1. 5

    Fill the Mushroom Caps

Take the stuffing mixture and fill each mushroom cap generously, ensuring they are well-packed.

Baking

  1. 6

    Bake the Stuffed Mushrooms

Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden brown.

Serving

  1. 7

    Serve Warm

Once baked, remove the stuffed mushrooms from the oven and let them cool for a couple of minutes. Serve warm as an appetizer or side dish.
