Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Seafood

In a large pot of boiling salted water, add the lobster tails and cook for about 5 minutes. Remove and let cool, then chop into bite-sized pieces. In the same water, add the shrimp, mussels, clams, scallops, and calamari. Cook until shrimp are pink, mussels and clams are open, and scallops are opaque, about 5-7 minutes. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Pasta

In the same pot, cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and toss with a little olive oil to prevent sticking. Set aside.

Sauce Preparation

  1. 3

    Make the Marinara Sauce

In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the crushed tomatoes and white wine, bringing to a simmer. Let it cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  2. 4

    Combine Ingredients

Add the cooked seafood and chopped basil to the skillet with the marinara sauce. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes to allow flavors to meld.

Final Assembly

  1. 5

    Serve the Dish

In a large serving bowl, combine the cooked linguine and the seafood marinara sauce. Toss gently to combine everything. Serve hot, garnishing with extra basil if desired.
