Pasta Preparation
- 1
Cook the Fettuccini
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccini and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Seafood Preparation
- 2
Sear the Seafood
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the lobster meat, scallops, and shrimp to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes, or until the seafood is cooked through and opaque. Remove the seafood from the skillet and set aside.
Sauce Preparation
- 3
Make the Sauce
In the same skillet, pour in the white wine and lemon juice, scraping up any bits from the bottom of the pan. Bring to a simmer and let cook for about 2-3 minutes until slightly reduced. Season with salt and black pepper.
Combining Ingredients
- 4
Combine Pasta and Seafood
Add the cooked fettuccini and seafood back into the skillet with the sauce. Toss everything together gently to combine, ensuring the pasta and seafood are coated in the sauce. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat everything through.
- 5
Garnish and Serve
Remove from heat, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and serve immediately. Enjoy your delicious Fettuccini Scampi!
