Cooking the Pasta

Boil Water
In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add 1 teaspoon of salt to the boiling water.

Cook the Pasta
Add 12 cups of farfalle pasta to the boiling water. Cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 10-12 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Preparing the Sauce

Sauté Garlic
In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add 3 minced garlic cloves and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Incorporate Olives and Capers
Stir in 1 cup of sliced kalamata olives and 2 tablespoons of capers. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Add Marinara Sauce
Pour in 2 cups of marinara sauce, and season with 1 teaspoon of black pepper. Stir well and let simmer for 5 minutes to combine flavors.
Combining Pasta and Sauce

Mix Pasta with Sauce
Add the cooked farfalle pasta to the sauce in the skillet. Toss gently to combine and ensure the pasta is well coated in the sauce.
