Choose Your Tea
Decide whether you want to prepare black tea or green tea. You can use either type of tea leaves or make both simultaneously.

In a kettle, bring 2 cups of filtered water to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.

Once the water reaches a boil, remove it from the heat. For black tea, add 2 tsp of black tea leaves to the hot water. For green tea, add 2 tsp of green tea leaves. Allow the tea to steep for the recommended time: 3-5 minutes for black tea and 2-3 minutes for green tea.
