  1. 1

    Prepare the Glass

Begin by preparing the glass for your Sidecar. Take a chilled cocktail glass and moisten the rim with a lemon wedge. Dip the rim into sugar to coat it evenly, creating a sugar rim.

  2. 2

    Mix the Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of Martell Cognac, 1 oz of orange liqueur, and 3 oz of fresh lemon juice. Add 1 cup of ice cubes to the shaker.

  3. 3

    Shake and Strain

Secure the lid on the shaker and shake the mixture vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled. Strain the mixture into the prepared cocktail glass.

  4. 4

    Garnish and Serve

Garnish the cocktail with a lemon wedge on the rim of the glass. Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing Sidecar!
