Method

Cooking the Pasta

  1. 1

    Boil the linguine

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside, reserving some pasta water.

Preparing the Seafood and Sauce

  1. 2

    Sauté garlic

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.

  2. 3

    Cook seafood

Add scallops, mussels, and clams to the skillet. Cook for about 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mussels and clams open and the scallops are opaque.

  3. 4

    Add marinara sauce

Pour in the marinara sauce, stirring to combine. Allow to simmer for an additional 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Combining and Serving

  1. 5

    Combine pasta and sauce

Add the cooked linguine to the skillet with the seafood and sauce. Toss gently to combine, adding reserved pasta water as needed to achieve desired sauce consistency.

  2. 6

    Garnish and serve

Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy your Linguine Pescatore hot!
