Wonton Ingredients

Method

Wonton Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped green onions, minced garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.

  2. 2

    Assemble the Wontons

Take one wonton wrapper and place about 1 tablespoon of the beef filling in the center. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with a little water, fold over to form a triangle, and press to seal. Make sure there are no air pockets. You can also fold the corners to the center for a traditional wonton shape.

  3. 3

    Cook the Wontons

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Carefully drop the assembled wontons into the boiling water. Cook for about 5-7 minutes or until they float to the top and are cooked through. Remove them with a slotted spoon and set aside.
