Method

Preparation of BBQ Sauce

  1. 1

    Mix Ingredients

In a medium bowl, combine ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.

  2. 2

    Set Aside

Once mixed, set the BBQ sauce aside for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Grilling the Sausages

  1. 3

    Preheat Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

  2. 4

    Prepare Sausages

While the grill is preheating, take the pork and chicken sausages out of their packaging.

  3. 5

    Grill Sausages

Place the sausages on the grill and cook for about 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally until they are browned and cooked through.

  4. 6

    Baste with BBQ Sauce

During the last 2 minutes of grilling, begin basting the sausages with your homemade BBQ sauce using a brush, making sure to coat them evenly.

  5. 7

    Remove and Serve

Once cooked and nicely glazed with BBQ sauce, remove the sausages from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
