Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Cobbler Base
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine flour, 2 tablespoons of sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
- 2
Combine Wet Ingredients
In a separate bowl, melt the unsalted butter and let it cool slightly. Add buttermilk and vanilla extract to the butter, whisking until smooth.
- 3
Mix Everything Together
Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. The batter should be slightly lumpy.
- 4
Add Blueberries
Gently fold in the fresh blueberries and half of the white chocolate chips into the batter.
- 5
Bake the Cobbler
Pour the batter into a greased 9-inch round baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining white chocolate chips on top. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
