Pork Chop

Method

Pork Chop

  1. 1

    Season and Sear

Season pork chops with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear pork chops for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.

Andouille Dirty Rice

  1. 2

    Cook Andouille and Vegetables

In the same skillet, add chopped Andouille sausage and cook until browned. Add onion, bell pepper, celery, and garlic; sauté until softened.

  2. 3

    Add Rice and Broth

Stir in the rice and Cajun seasoning, then add the chicken broth. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 20 minutes or until rice is cooked.

  3. 4

    Finish with Green Onions

Once rice is cooked, fold in sliced green onions.

Green Onion-Chili Butter

  1. 5

    Mix Butter

In a bowl, combine softened butter with finely chopped green onions, chili powder, lemon juice, and salt. Mix well and set aside.

Serve

  1. 6

    Plate the Dish

Serve the pork chops on a plate with a generous scoop of andouille dirty rice on the side. Top the pork chops with green onion-chili butter.
