Ice Cream Base Preparation

Mix Base Ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is well combined.

Divide the mixture into separate bowls for each flavor base.
Flavor Preparation

Prepare Buttermilk Flavor
For Buttermilk Ice Cream: Stir in the buttermilk into one bowl and mix well.

Prepare Brown Sugar-Caramel Flavor
For Brown Sugar-Caramel Ice Cream: In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat, then stir in the brown sugar until dissolved. Slowly add the heavy cream and stir until combined. Allow to cool, then mix into the base.

For Cookies & Cream Ice Cream: Crush the Oreos and fold them into the base mixture.

For Chocolate Ice Cream: Whisk in the cocoa powder until fully incorporated.

For Vanilla Ice Cream: Use the base mixture as is, or add more vanilla extract if desired.
Churning and Freezing

Pour each flavored mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.
