Bread Pudding

Method

Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bread

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish. Tear the day-old bread into bite-sized pieces and place them in the prepared baking dish.

  2. 2

    Make the Custard

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, heavy cream, eggs, brown sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.

  3. 3

    Combine and Soak

Pour the custard mixture evenly over the bread pieces, pressing down gently to ensure all the bread is soaked. Let it sit for about 15 minutes.

  4. 4

    Add Praline Topping

Sprinkle the praline topping evenly over the soaked bread mixture.

  5. 5

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

  6. 6

    Serve

Allow the bread pudding to cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with brown sugar-caramel ice cream and drizzle with caramel and vanilla white chocolate sauces.
