Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove and let drain on paper towels.

  2. 2

    Make the Smash Patties

Divide the ground beef into two equal portions. Form into balls and season with salt and black pepper. Heat a skillet over high heat and add a little oil. Place one ball in the skillet and smash it down with a spatula. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Repeat with the second ball.

  3. 3

    Cook the Eggs

In the same skillet, lower the heat and crack the eggs in. Cook sunny-side up until the whites are set but the yolks are still runny.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Barnyard

On each burger bun, spread mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard. Layer with lettuce, tomato slices, onion slices, pickles, a smash patty, a slice of bacon, and top with a sunny egg. Serve immediately.
