Method
Preparing the Seafood
- 1
Cooking the Shrimp
Start by rinsing the Baja shrimp under cold water and patting them dry with a paper towel. If using frozen shrimp, ensure they are completely thawed.
- 2
Seasoning
In a bowl, season the shrimp with your choice of spices (such as chili powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper). If you choose to blacken the shrimp, add cayenne pepper for extra heat.

Warm the Tortillas
Heat the flour tortillas in a dry skillet for about 30 seconds on each side until warm and pliable. Alternatively, you can wrap them in foil and place them in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes.
- 5
Assembling the Tacos
On each tortilla, layer a generous amount of coleslaw mix, followed by a handful of cooked shrimp (either fried or blackened). Top with pickled red onions, pico de gallo, and a drizzle of boom boom sauce.
- 6
Serve
Fold the tortillas in half to form tacos and serve immediately while warm. Enjoy with extra boom boom sauce on the side if desired.
