Prepare the Queso

Make the Cheese Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and milk. Stir until melted and smooth.

Add Diced Chiles
Stir in the diced green chiles and salt. Keep warm on low heat while preparing the other ingredients.
Cook the Ground Beef

Brown the Beef
In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.

Season the Beef
Add taco seasoning to the beef, along with a splash of water. Mix well and simmer for about 5 minutes.
Prepare the Pico de Gallo

Mix the Pico
In a bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, and lime juice. Mix well and set aside.
Assemble the Nachos

Layer the Chips
On a large baking sheet, spread out the tortilla chips evenly.

Add Toppings
Layer the cooked ground beef, black beans (drained and rinsed), and queso over the tortilla chips.

Bake the Nachos
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the nachos for 10 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly.
Serve the Nachos

Remove from the oven and top with pico de gallo, sliced green onions, sour cream, and guacamole.
