Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Beef Patties

In a bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently to combine, then shape into two equal patties.

2

Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the beef patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.

3

Toast the Buns

While the patties are cooking, cut the hamburger buns in half and toast them on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

4

Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, layer the lettuce, cooked beef patty with melted cheese, tomato slices, and onion slices. Add ketchup and mustard to taste. Top with the other half of the bun.

5

Serve

Serve immediately and enjoy your classic cheeseburger!
