Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Meatball Mixture
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and grated Parmesan cheese. Mix until well combined.
- 2
Form the Meatballs
Using your hands, form the mixture into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 3
Cook the Meatballs
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are cooked through and browned.
- 4
Prepare the Tomato Sauce
While the meatballs are baking, prepare your favorite tomato sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
- 5
Combine and Serve
Once the meatballs are cooked, add them to the tomato sauce and let them simmer for an additional 5-10 minutes. Serve hot, garnished with extra grated cheese if desired.
