Preparation Steps
- 1
Prepare the Chorizo Filling
In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Chop the chorizo into small pieces and add to the skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes until the chorizo is browned. Stir in paprika, salt, and black pepper. Remove from heat and let cool.
- 2
Prepare the Bread Dough
If using store-bought dough, let it rise according to package instructions. If making from scratch, combine flour, water, yeast, and salt, knead until smooth, and allow to rise until doubled in size.
- 3
Combine and Shape
Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle. Spread the chorizo filling evenly over the dough, then roll it tightly to form a log. Pinch the ends to seal.
- 4
Bake the Bread
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Place the rolled dough on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Allow it to rest for 15 minutes, then bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- 5
Serve
Let the bread cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm as an appetizer or snack.
