Dipping Sauce
Method
Prepare Chicken Tenders
- 1
Coat the Chicken
In a shallow bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. In another bowl, place the beaten eggs. In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs. Dip each chicken strip first in the flour mixture, then in the egg, and finally in the breadcrumbs, ensuring they are well coated.
- 2
Fry the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the breaded chicken tenders in batches, cooking for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Prepare Handcut Fries
- 3
Cut the Potatoes
Wash and peel the russet potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to make fries.
- 4
Fry the Fries
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Carefully add the cut fries in batches, frying for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels, then season with salt.
