Boil 4 cups of water in a saucepan over medium heat.

Once the water reaches a rolling boil, remove it from the heat.

Add 2 tablespoons of green tea leaves or tea bags to the hot water.

Let the tea steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on how strong you prefer your tea.

While the tea is steeping, rinse 1 cup of fresh mint leaves under cold water to clean them.
Combining Flavors

After steeping, strain the tea to remove the leaves or bags.

Add the rinsed fresh mint leaves to the hot tea.

Stir the tea gently to combine the flavors and dissolve the sweetener.
Serving

Pour the mint tea into cups or teapots.

Serve hot, optionally garnished with additional mint leaves.
