Prepare the Pork
Rub the pork shoulder with smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

Slow Roast the Pork
Place the seasoned pork shoulder into a slow cooker. Add apple cider vinegar and water. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours, or until the pork is tender and easily shreds with a fork.

Remove the pork from the slow cooker and let it rest for about 15 minutes. Use two forks to shred the pork into bite-sized pieces.

Make the BBQ Sauce
In a medium saucepan, combine ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and simmer over medium heat for about 15 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
