Method

Preparing the Chicken Fingers

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Cut the chicken breasts into strips about 1 inch wide.

  2. 2

    Set Up Breading Station

In three separate bowls, place flour in the first, beaten eggs in the second, and breadcrumbs mixed with salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder in the third.

  3. 3

    Bread the Chicken

Coat each chicken strip first in the flour, shaking off excess, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs. Press the breadcrumbs onto the chicken to ensure they stick.

  4. 4

    Heat Oil

In a large frying pan, heat the oil over medium-high heat until hot.

  5. 5

    Fry the Chicken

Carefully place the breaded chicken strips into the hot oil. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Preparing the Fries (optional)

  1. 6

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips.

  2. 7

    Heat Oil for Fries

In a separate frying pan or deep fryer, heat the oil over medium-high heat until hot.

  3. 8

    Fry the Potatoes

Carefully place the potato strips into the hot oil. Fry for about 5-7 minutes or until golden and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels. Season with salt to taste.

Preparing the Dipping Sauce

  1. 9

    Mix the Sauce

In a bowl, combine ketchup, mayonnaise, honey, and hot sauce. Mix well until smooth.
