Method

Prepare Chicken Tenders

Marinate Chicken

In a bowl, combine chicken tenders, maple syrup, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Coat Chicken

Set up a breading station with flour, whisked egg, and breadcrumbs. Dredge each chicken tender in flour, dip in egg, and coat with breadcrumbs.

Cook Chicken

Fry the chicken tenders in hot oil until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

Make Waffles

Mix Ingredients

In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, and vegetable oil. Combine both mixtures until just combined.

Cook Waffles

Preheat a waffle iron and pour batter in, cooking according to the manufacturer's instructions until golden brown.

Prepare Bacon and Sauce

Cook Bacon

In a skillet, cook bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Make Garlic Mayo

In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Assemble Dish

Stack and Serve

On a plate, place one waffle, top with two maple chicken tenders, add crispy bacon, a dollop of garlic mayo, and top with a sunny side egg. Finish with another waffle on top.
