Vanilla, Chocolate, Espresso, Blueberry Swirl, Chocolate Sorbet, Cherry Sorbet, Melon Sorbet

In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, whole milk, and sugar. Heat over medium until sugar dissolves. In a separate bowl, whisk egg yolks. Gradually add hot cream mixture to yolks while whisking, then return to the saucepan. Cook until thickened. Stir in vanilla extract. Chill.

Make the Base

Churn the chilled base in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer instructions. Freeze until firm.

Vanilla Ice Cream

Once you have the vanilla base, divide it. To one half, mix in cocoa powder before churning in the ice cream maker.

Chocolate Ice Cream

To the other half, add espresso powder and churn.

Espresso Ice Cream

Blend blueberries with sugar and a bit of water. Strain and churn in the ice cream maker until frosty.

Blueberry Swirl Sorbet

In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, and cocoa powder. Heat until dissolved. Stir in vanilla extract and chill. Churn in the ice cream maker.

Chocolate Sorbet

Blend pitted cherries with sugar and a bit of water. Strain and churn until frosty.

Cherry Sorbet

Puree the melon and add sugar to taste. Churn in the ice cream maker until frosty.
