Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C). This ensures that the cake bakes evenly.

Melt Butter and Mix Wet Ingredients
In a medium microwave-safe bowl, melt the unsalted butter until completely liquid. Let it cool slightly, then whisk in the eggs, egg yolks, and vanilla extract until smooth.

In another bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Baking

Fill Ramekins
Evenly distribute the batter into the prepared ramekins, filling each about 3/4 full.

Place the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes, until the edges are firm but the center is soft.
