Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring they are well coated. Cover the dish or seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F/190°C). If using a charcoal grill, prepare the coals until they are covered with white ash.

  2. 4

    Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and discard the marinade. Place the fillets skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

  3. 5

    Add Fresh Dill

During the last minute of grilling, sprinkle the chopped fresh dill over the salmon for added flavor.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve the Salmon

Once grilled, carefully remove the salmon from the grill using a spatula. Serve immediately with lemon wedges and your favorite side dishes.
