Grilled Chicken

  1. 1

    Preheat Grill

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

  2. 2

    Prepare Marinade

In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Marinate Chicken

Coat the chicken breasts with the marinade and let it sit for at least 15 minutes.

  4. 4

    Grill Chicken

Place the marinated chicken on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

  5. 5

    Rest Chicken

Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

BBQ Sauce

  1. 6

    Combine Ingredients

In a saucepan, combine ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 7

    Simmer Sauce

Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the sauce begins to simmer. Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.

  3. 8

    Adjust & Set Aside

Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Remove from heat and set aside.

Coleslaw

  1. 9

    Mix Vegetables

In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage and grated carrot.

  2. 10

    Make Dressing

In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper.

  3. 11

    Combine Dressing and Vegetables

Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrot mixture and toss until well combined.

  4. 12

    Chill Coleslaw

Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
