Method

Prepare Dumpling Filling

  1. 1

    Chop Ingredients

Finely chop the shrimp, green onions, and set aside.

  2. 2

    Mix Filling

In a large bowl, combine the chopped shrimp, ground pork, minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well until combined.

Form Dumplings

  1. 3

    Fill Dumpling Wrappers

Take a dumpling wrapper and place about 1 tablespoon of the filling in the center. Moisten the edges with water, fold the wrapper over and pinch to seal tightly.

  2. 4

    Repeat

Repeat the process until all the filling is used, placing the dumplings on a floured surface to prevent sticking.

Cook Soup

  1. 5

    Prepare Broth

In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil over medium-high heat.

  2. 6

    Add Dumplings

Carefully add the dumplings to the boiling broth, reduce heat to medium, and let them cook for about 5-7 minutes until they float and are cooked through.

  3. 7

    Add Spinach

Stir in the baby spinach, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the spinach is wilted.

Serve

  1. 8

    Dish and Enjoy

Ladle the soup into bowls and serve hot. Enjoy your delicious dumpling soup!
