Preparation
- 1
Chill the Glass
Begin by chilling a cocktail glass. You can do this by filling it with ice water and letting it sit while you prepare the drink.
- 2
Combine the Ingredients
In a mixing glass, add 2 oz of Rieger Bourbon, 1 oz of Sweet Vermouth, and 0.5 oz of Benedictine.
- 3
Add Bitters
Add 2 dashes of Angostura Bitters to the mixing glass.
- 4
Stir the Mixture
Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir the mixture for about 30 seconds until well chilled.
- 5
Strain the Drink
Remove the ice water from the chilled cocktail glass. Using a strainer, pour the mixture from the mixing glass into the cocktail glass.
- 6
Garnish
Express the oils of an orange twist over the drink and then place it in the glass as a garnish.
- 7
Serve
Your Pendergast cocktail is now ready to be served. Enjoy responsibly!
