Prepare Meatballs

Mix Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground pork, finely chopped scallions, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, and the beaten egg.

Form Meatballs
Using your hands, mix the ingredients until well combined. Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a plate.
Cook Meatballs

Pan-Fry Meatballs
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add a little oil to the pan. Once hot, add the meatballs and cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until they are browned on all sides and cooked through.

Prepare Sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, water, and sesame oil until well combined.

Add Sauce to Meatballs
Once the meatballs are cooked, pour the sauce over them in the skillet. Allow the sauce to simmer for 2-3 minutes until it thickens slightly and coats the meatballs.
Garnish and Serve

Sprinkle chopped scallions and sesame seeds over the meatballs before serving.

Serve the gyoza meatballs hot, with extra sauce if desired.
