Method

Steak Preparation

1

Season the Steak

Pat the ribeye steaks dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.

2

Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat (about 450°F/232°C).

3

Grill the Steak

Brush the grill grates with olive oil to prevent sticking. Place the seasoned ribeye steaks on the grill. Grill for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.

4

Rest the Steak

Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing.

French Fries Preparation

5

Prepare the Potatoes

Peel and cut the russet potatoes into thin strips (about 1/4 inch thick). Rinse them in cold water to remove excess starch, then pat dry with paper towels.

6

Heat the Oil

In a large heavy pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

7

Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the potato strips in batches to the hot oil. Fry for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels. Season with salt while hot.

Garlic Butter Preparation

8

Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat.

9

Add Garlic and Parsley

Finely chop the garlic cloves and add to the melted butter, cooking for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in the chopped fresh parsley and season with salt to taste.
