Tortilla Chips

House Salsa

Method

Tortilla Chips

  1. 1

    Prepare the Tortillas

Cut each corn tortilla into 6 wedges to create triangular chips.

  2. 2

    Heat the Oil

In a deep skillet or frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches about 350°F (175°C).

  3. 3

    Fry the Chips

Carefully add a handful of tortilla wedges to the hot oil. Fry until they are golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.

  4. 4

    Season the Chips

While the chips are still warm, sprinkle with salt to taste.

House Salsa

  1. 5

    Chop the Ingredients

Dice the fresh tomatoes, red onion, and jalapeño pepper. Finely chop the cilantro.

  2. 6

    Mix the Salsa

In a large bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, red onion, jalapeño pepper, and chopped cilantro.

  3. 7

    Add Lime Juice and Salt

Drizzle with lime juice and sprinkle with salt. Mix well to combine all the flavors.

  4. 8

    Let it Sit

Allow the salsa to sit for at least 15 minutes to let the flavors meld together before serving.
