1. Cook the Pasta
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.
2. Prepare the Sauce
In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
3. Combine Ingredients
Add the cherry tomatoes and Kalamata olives to the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes until the tomatoes start to soften.
4. Mix with Pasta
Add the cooked linguine, reserved pasta water, fresh basil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Toss everything together until well combined.
5. Serve and Garnish
Remove from heat and stir in the crumbled feta cheese. Serve immediately, garnished with extra basil if desired.
