Preparing the Tea

Steep the Tea
Boil water and steep the assorted teas for about 5 minutes. Serve hot.
Making Finger Sandwiches

Cucumber Sandwiches
Spread cream cheese on whole wheat bread, layer with cucumber slices, and cut into quarters.

Smoked Salmon Sandwiches
Spread capers on bread, layer with smoked salmon, and top with another slice of bread. Cut into triangles.

Egg Salad Sandwiches
Mix egg salad with mayonnaise and chives. Spread on bread and cut into small rectangles.
Baking Pastries

Prepare the Dough
In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in powdered sugar.

Add Liquid Ingredients
Add milk and vanilla extract. Mix until just combined. Roll out and cut into desired shapes.

Bake
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden. Cool before serving.
