Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Shrimp
Rinse the tiger shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season with salt and black pepper.
- 2
Wrap the Shrimp
Take a slice of bacon and wrap it around each shrimp, ensuring the shrimp is fully covered. Secure the bacon with a toothpick if needed.
Specialty Sauce Preparation
- 3
Make the Sauce
In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, Sriracha sauce, lemon juice, garlic powder, and honey. Mix thoroughly until well combined. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Frying
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 5
Fry the Wrapped Shrimp
Carefully place the bacon-wrapped shrimp into the hot oil in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pot. Fry for 3-4 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and the shrimp are cooked through.
