Main Ingredients

Seasoning and Sauce

Optional Toppings

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Trim any excess fat from the flank steak and slice it into thin strips against the grain.

  2. 2

    Slice the Vegetables

Chop the green bell pepper and onion into thin slices.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Cook the Steak

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced flank steak, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the steak is browned and cooked to your desired doneness.

  2. 4

    Add Vegetables

Add the sliced green bell pepper and onion to the skillet with the steak. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently, until the vegetables are softened.

  3. 5

    Melt the Cheese

Reduce the heat to low and place the provolone cheese slices on top of the steak and vegetables. Cover the skillet with a lid and let it cook for about 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.

Assembly

  1. 6

    Fill the Tortillas

Remove the skillet from heat. Warm the flour tortillas in a separate pan or microwave. Spoon the steak and cheese mixture onto the center of each tortilla.

  2. 7

    Roll the Burritos

Fold in the sides of the tortilla and then roll it up tightly from the bottom to enclose the filling.

Serving

  1. 8

    Serve with Toppings

Cut the burritos in half if desired and serve with optional toppings such as sour cream, salsa, and chopped cilantro.
