Preparation
Prepare the Glass
Select a tall glass, such as a highball or hurricane glass. Fill it with ice cubes to the top.
Add Tequila
Pour 2 oz of tequila over the ice in the prepared glass.
Add Orange Juice
Slowly pour 4 oz of orange juice into the glass, allowing it to mix gently with the tequila.
Add Grenadine
Carefully drizzle 1 oz of grenadine syrup into the glass. Pour it slowly down the side of the glass to create a gradient effect.
Garnish
Garnish the drink with a slice of orange on the rim and a maraschino cherry placed on top.
Serving
