Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Beef
Trim any excess fat from the beef tenderloin and cut it into bite-sized pieces, about 1 inch each.
- 2
Marinate the Beef
In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, chopped thyme, salt, and black pepper. Add the beef pieces to the marinade, making sure they are well-coated. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or up to overnight for maximum flavor.
- 3
Preheat the Pan
Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Allow it to get hot.
- 4
- 5
Deglaze the Pan
In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and pour in the red wine. Use a wooden spoon to scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Allow the wine to simmer for about 5 minutes until it reduces slightly.
- 6
- 7
Serve
If using skewers, thread the beef pieces onto them for easy serving. Transfer the tenderloin tips to a serving platter and drizzle with any remaining sauce. Serve warm.
