Preparing the Steak

Marinate the Flank Steak
In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.

Coat the Steak
Place the flank steak in the marinade, ensuring it is well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for better flavor.

Slice the Steak
Slice the steak against the grain into thin strips.
Assembling the Tacos

Prepare the Onions
Finely chop the medium onion and set aside.

Chop the Cilantro
Rinse and chop the cilantro, discarding the stems.

Warm the Tortillas
In a dry skillet over medium heat, warm the corn tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.

On each tortilla, place a few slices of grilled steak, then top with chopped onions and cilantro. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the top.
