Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure the cheese melts perfectly.

Prepare the Cheese
Grate the cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese and mix them together in a bowl.

Prepare the Jalapeños
If using fresh jalapeños, slice them into thin rings. If using pickled jalapeños, ensure they are drained.

Layer the Tortilla Chips
Spread half of the tortilla chips evenly on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

Add Cheese
Sprinkle half of the mixed cheese over the tortilla chips, making sure to cover them evenly.

Add Jalapeños
Evenly distribute the sliced jalapeños over the cheese layer.

Repeat the Layering
Add the remaining tortilla chips on top, followed by the rest of the cheese and jalapeños.
Baking

Bake the Nachos
Place the baking tray in the preheated oven and bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.

Once the cheese has melted, remove the nachos from the oven and let them cool for a minute.
