Brewing the Tea

Boil Water
In a kettle, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.

Add Tea Leaves
Once the water has boiled, remove it from the heat and add 2 tablespoons of black tea leaves.

Steep the Tea
Let the tea leaves steep in the hot water for 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you prefer your tea.
Sweetening the Tea

Remove Tea Leaves
After steeping, strain the tea to remove the tea leaves.

Add Sweeteners
Add your choice of sweetener: 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1 tablespoon of honey, or stevia to taste. Stir well to combine.
Serving the Tea

Optional Flavorings
If desired, add lemon slices and mint leaves for additional flavor.

Serve Hot
Pour the tea into cups and serve immediately while hot.
