  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a kettle, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.

    Add Tea Leaves

Once the water has boiled, remove it from the heat and add 2 tablespoons of black tea leaves.

  3. 3

    Steep the Tea

Let the tea leaves steep in the hot water for 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you prefer your tea.

Sweetening the Tea

    Remove Tea Leaves

After steeping, strain the tea to remove the tea leaves.
