Preparation
- 1
Cook the Chicken
In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Once the oil is hot, add the chicken and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from heat and let it rest.
- 2
Prepare the Romaine
While the chicken is cooking, rinse the romaine lettuce under cold water. Pat dry with a paper towel and chop into bite-sized pieces.
- 3
Make the Caesar Dressing
If using store-bought Caesar dressing, skip this step. For homemade dressing, combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and anchovy paste in a bowl and mix well.
Assembly
- 4
Slice the Chicken
Once the chicken has rested, slice it into strips.
- 5
Combine Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine chopped romaine lettuce, sliced chicken, and Caesar dressing. Toss gently until everything is evenly coated.
- 6
Serve
Top the salad with croutons and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top. Serve immediately.
