Seafood Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Seafood
Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry. Clean the calamari by removing the skin and insides, then cut them into rings. Ensure the crawfish tails are thawed if previously frozen.
Marinara Sauce Preparation
- 2
Make the Marinara Sauce
In a large pan, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add 4 minced garlic cloves and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the crushed tomatoes, red pepper flakes, salt, black pepper, and dried oregano. Stir well and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
- 3
Add Seafood to Sauce
Once the sauce has simmered, add the prepared shrimp, calamari, and crawfish tails. Stir gently and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until seafood is cooked through and the shrimp turn pink.
- 4
Finish with Basil
Tear the fresh basil leaves and stir them into the sauce just before serving.
Broccoli Preparation
- 5
Steam the Broccoli
In a pot with a steamer basket, bring water to a boil. Add 200 grams of broccoli florets, sprinkle with 0.5 teaspoon of salt, and steam for about 5-7 minutes until tender but still bright green. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil before serving.
