Chicken Preparation
Prepare the Chicken
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
Dredging the Chicken
Set up a dredging station: Place the flour in one shallow dish, beat the eggs in another, and place the breadcrumbs mixed with grated Parmesan cheese in a third dish.
Coat the Chicken
Dredge each chicken breast in flour, shaking off the excess. Dip into the beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb and Parmesan mixture. Ensure each piece is fully coated.
Cooking the Chicken
Sear the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the coated chicken breasts and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Bake the Chicken
Transfer the seared chicken to a baking dish. Pour a generous amount of marinara sauce over each piece, then top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
Finish Baking
Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
