Pasta

Method

Pasta Preparation

1

Cook the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fusilli pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain the pasta and set aside.

Sauce Preparation

2

Prepare the Sauce

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Do not let it burn.

3

Add Tomatoes

Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the tomatoes are softened and start to burst.

4

Season the Sauce

Stir in the chopped fresh basil, salt, and black pepper. Allow the sauce to simmer for another 2-3 minutes to let the flavors meld together.

5

Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the cooked fusilli pasta to the skillet with the sauce. Toss well to ensure the pasta is coated with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.

6

Serve

Remove from heat and serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
